Airbag Evaluation Platform

The Bosch Group’s Automotive Electronics Components Division and Freescale have decided to jointly introduce a cost-effective, scalable and ready-to-use automotive airbag evaluation platform for the growing automotive safety segment in emerging markets.
The new airbag evaluation platform is based on chipsets from Bosch’s CG1xx Airbag ASSP Family and Freescale’s Qorivva 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) family and is compatible with sensors from both companies.
The platform demonstrates verified combinations between parts to deliver cost savings, scalability and reduced time to market.
