The E-Ray IP module can be integrated as stand-alone device, as part of an ASIC, or as a micro controller peripheral. It is described in VHDL on RTL level, prepared for synthesis. The E-Ray IP module performs communication according to the FlexRay protocol specification v2.1. Up to 128 message buffers with a payload of up to 254 data bytes can be configured for communication on a FlexRay network. The E-Ray IP module comes with an 8/16/32 bit generic CPU Interface connectable to a wide range of customerspecific Host CPUs.
