  • Is a time triggered single master / multiple slave network concept
  • Operates at data rates up to 20 Kilobits per second
  • Is based on a common UART/SCI interace hardware which makes a low cost silicon or a µC solution possible
  • Low cost slave nodes without quartz or ceramic resonator because of self synchronization
